time for change
I have collected some interesting files about the last SARS outbreak in 2003 and about the family of Coronaviruses. I have put them all in pdf format for ease of reading, they should all be readable in full-page format.

The day had been a long time coming, there had been ups and downs as in all long relationships, finally, Brit had said she was going. Some had said it had always been a marriage of convenience, others said they´d seen sparkles of real love at times, several aged relatives mumbled that they were just too different.
Meine große Tochter ist nun in der 11ten Klasse. In der 10ten Klasse war die Klasse in etwa bis Verdun gekommen dann brach der regelmäßige Unterricht infolge von den Coronamassnahmen ab und die weitere Bearbeitung der Geschichte Deutschlands im zwanzigsten Jahrhundert blieb für mehr oder weniger den Rest des Schuljahres aus.

We had two huge bags of apples which my wife collected from the riding stables and I decided to do something useful with them. I used the recipe from our GU cook book.
It´s the beginning of November 2020 and we are heading back into lockdowns with some regional variation due to Coronavirus. It is irritating but not really at all surprising.
Anyway not to be deterred by this I decided to go all out and try to get a proper Ubuntu desktop installation up and running inside Ubuntu Touch:
I was probably getting a bit carried away with my successes using Ubuntu Touch. I had, however, had a lot of trouble getting libertine containers up and running, in fact, it wasn´t working at all and I couldn´t get any packages installed. After OTA-13 was released I tried changing update channels from the Sony “development channel” to the “stable release channel” and back again but the net result was that open store started crashing and various apps that had worked fine up until then stopped working.
